I am 15 weeks and Dr. couldn't find baby's heart tones, yesterday. How worried should I be?
He said he could "hear" that the placenta was anterior and that this might be why we couldn't find the heart beat of the baby. However, he then ordered an ultrasound. I am feeling very negative and afraid to face tomorrow. Have any of you had fetal heart tones not heard this far into pregnancy? - This was my first appointment, so our first attempt to hear anything. With my previous babies, we could always get heart tones via doppler by 10-12 weeks.
They couldn't find my babies heartbeat either, so i went for an ultrasound and they ended up finding the baby, and the heartbeat, and it was hard for the doppler to find it because my uterus was tilted back, so the baby's position was back far and thats why the doppler couldn't find it. I wouldn't stress yourself until you get there, everyone is different and it could be ok.
